Azienda Agricola Gorgo Sommacampagna Custoza DOC White Veneto

The morainic soils deposited in the large amphitheatre east of Lake Garda by retreating glaciers during the Quaternary Period formed low, gentle hills overlooking the Po Valley, allowing minerality and great flavor to the wine. The second factor that most characterizes the terroir of the Custoza region is the climate. The currents from Lake Garda, by influencing the temperature, create a Mediterranean microclimate not typical for a region of northern Italy.

As you leave Sommacampagna you will see innumerable shrines, churches, hermitages, convents, monasteries. They are not only places of prayer and spiritual retreat but are also appreciated for their artistic and cultural beauty. Perfectly preserved Venetian villas embellish the landscape, culminating in the magical Borghetto sul Mincio, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

Press WE "Made with organically grown grapes, this fragrant white has aromas of honeysuckle and tropical fruit. The fresh savory palate doles out ripe yellow pear, green melon and pineapple while tangy acidity gives it a crisp close"

Garganega, Bianca Fernanda (native clone of the Cortese grape), Trebbiano Toscano."
