White Burgundy Deux-Roches Saint-Véran Vieilles Vignes 2017
"Pale yellow gold, brilliant and crystal-clear. Fruit aromas (peach, pear), acacia, honeysuckle and bracken, fresh almond and hazelnut.. On the palate, this white wine is dry and well-rounded, mineral (gun-flint) and lively from the first attack. Acidity and presence come increasingly into play. The structure is harmonious, fresh, and round.
This wine is a selection of plots located in the heart of the Saint-Véran appellation, around Davayé, near Roches de Solutré and Vergisson. These chalky terroirs dating from the Jurassic are perfect for promoting the expression of this wine. A rich and ripe Saint-Véran, full of liveliness. Its great character and its beautiful typicity are unanimous. This is the first wine produced at Deux Roches in 1983"
